Stipend/Salary Per Month
Selected candidates for the apprenticeship program will receive a monthly stipend for one-year contract period, based on their assigned branch category and location. In metro areas, apprentices will receive a stipend of Rs. 15,000 while in urban regions, the stipend is Rs. 12,000, and in semi-urban/rural areas, it’s Rs. 10,000. This stipend will be credit directly to the apprentices’ bank accounts each month, after adjusting for any unauthorized leaves. Additionally, the government’s contribution of Rs. 4,500 will paid directly through the DBT mode, as per the existing guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria
Well, only Indian citizens who falls in age limit of 20 to 28 years can apply online for recruitment. Individuals must hold Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government. There is age relaxations for aspirants who belong to SC, ST, OBC, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried.

- Navigate “Career Opportunities” option and select “Apprenticeship Opportunities” option.
- Now select “Indian Overseas Bank” and then go to the “Indian Overseas Bank Apprenticeship Program FY 2024-2025 Notification dtd. 01/03/25”, here select “Click Here to View” option.
- After that hit on “Click Here to Apply” under Apply through NATS Portal box.
- This will redirect you to https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php, here make “Student New Registration” option on NATS portal.
- Login into the portal using their user id and password. After login into the portal the candidate has to apply for Apprenticeship as per the Advertisement published by “Indian Overseas Bank” by going to the section “Apply against advertised vacancies”.
- Candidates can apply for engagement from only one State/UT which is preferably their home State/UT.
- Pay the application or examination fee through online payment method.
- Click on Submit and save application & payment receipt for further use.
Selection Process

Candidates have to solve exam paper in the total duration of examination which is 90 minutes. The BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) will avail the exam date and timing to eligible and qualified applicants. All applicants will have to give the online examination on the given date and time using the own camera enabled desktop / laptop or tablet or smartphone. Test of Local Language –
Candidate applying for training seats of a particular state, should proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the local languages of the state (as specified at the time of calling the applications). The test of local language is held after qualifying the online written exam. It will held during the process of document verification. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not engage for apprentice.
