The selected children will receive free quality education until Class VIII from private schools under the RTE Act. Schools are require to maintain records of both promoted and newly admitted children, ensuring that the number of children studying on free seats does not exceed 25% in any given class. Disadvantaged Groups
Includes children from Scheduled Castes (SC), Orphan children, Children affected by HIV or cancer, or those whose parents/guardians are affected by HIV or cancer, Children of war widows, Children with disabilities (as per the Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016), Children from Backward Classes or Special Backward Classes whose parents’ income is under Rs. 2.50 lakh, and Children whose parents are on the BPL (Below Poverty Line) list.
